Dr. Chintalapati Vijaya Gopala Raju finished his MBBS in 1986 from Rangaraya Medical College , Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
He then completed his MD (Ophthalmology) in 1991 from AIIMS, New Delhi, went on to finish his DNB in 1992 through NBE, New Delhi and pursued his Fellowship (Cornea and Anterior Segment) in 1992 at the esteemed Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.
After working there for a couple of years and undergoing training under big names like Prof. Simons (Madrid, Spain) and Prof. M. Srinivasan, he started Visakha Eye Hospital in 1993 with his best friend and colleague in both AIIMS and Aravind Eye Hospital, Dr. P. Vasudev.
Dr. Raju garners tremendous respect and is widely popular throughout the city. He is the goto surgeon for any type of cataract or refractive eye surgery.
Dr Palimaru Vasudeva did his MBBS from Andhra Medical College in 1985. He was brilliant academically and was awarded two university medals in MBBS.
He then did his MD from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi in 1991. After that he pursued his Fellowship in Vitreo Retinal Diseases (FRVS) at the esteemed Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai where he was trained by the legendary Padmashri Dr Nam Perumalsamy.
He worked as a consultant at Aravind Eye Hospital before starting Visakha Eye Hospital in 1992 along with his best friend and colleague from AIIMS and Aravind, Dr. C. V. Gopala Raju. Since then he has put in a lot of work in developing the hospital in having one of the best and most respected retina care services in the city.
With over 3 decades worth of experience Dr. Vasudev is sought after by a wide number of people throughout the city both old and young for his exemplary patient care.
